Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! I hope you have a lucky day!
Now that we got that out of the way, how about we look at the word for today:
- sills is a noun that means a horizontal timber, block, or the like serving as a foundation of a wall, house, etc.; OR the horizontal piece or member beneath a window, door, or other opening; OR a tabular body of intrusive igneous rock, ordinarily between beds of sedimentary rocks or layers of volcanic ejecta
It is also a mountain range in the Sierra Nevada range and is an American operatic soprano and manager who joined the New York City Opera in 1955 and was its general director from 1979 to 1989.
So do you remember what to do now? Leave a comment using the word in a sentence…go on, I’m waiting!
